A Gentle Holiday Note (and Two Ways to Support Yourself Right Now)

If the holidays feel tender, you are not alone.


For so many women healing from childhood trauma, emotional neglect, betrayal, or chronic stress, this season can stir up a particular kind of ache—old roles, old expectations, old memories that live in the body even when the mind is trying to “be fine.”


I want to offer this soft invitation and two simple ways to care for your nervous system and your heart this season.


1) The Holiday Survival Guide


If you’re heading into a gathering, a hard conversation, or a stretch of days that feel emotionally loud, I made something you can keep close.

2) Letters to the Girl I Was (a trauma-informed guided journal)


I’m also deeply grateful to share that Letters to the Girl I Was is now available.

This guided journal is a tender writing practice for inner child healing and self-forgiveness.

It is designed to be used slowly, gently, and with care for your nervous system. It is inspired and informed by the years of RIM sessions I have facilitated. (Regenerating Images in Memory)


Inside you’ll find:

  • 13 guided letters (12 letters plus a final “today self” letter)

  • A processing page with each letter

  • A grounding exercise to help you integrate and move forward with more peace


And one of the letters that many women have been waiting for is:

I didn’t plan to add an extra letter to the digital version of Letters to the Girl I Was. In fact, I had already submitted to Amazon for publication. And so this letter is only included in the PDF version.


While creating it, my own healing asked for this next level to be acknowledged and felt. The process allowed me to see something about myself that had lived quietly in my body for a long time.

That’s how I know this process works.


Not because it’s neat or pretty,

but because it’s gentle enough for truth to surface safely.

(And not on a convenient time line, as this showed itself the day after the paperback was published.)


The journal isn’t about forcing memories.

It’s about creating enough safety for what’s ready to be felt. It has for me.
